No worries, one day my car will have some mods but got to wait until my trip to the garage to sort the brakes and cv boot out is done and having a new windscreen fitted friday :)

I had found a lovely set of BMW wheels but the et is 20 so no good for my car plus would need the adaptors and that would push them out even more :(

How did you sort the screw & mount at the top of the front arches? Just take screw out and cut the mount off?
Lowered and spaced mine at the front, and its rubbing now over any bit of the road that's not smooth lol.

Here's a pic (which I stole from you lol :p) the screw is somewhere near the blue circle...

Erm yea i actually had to cut the mount and get some side cutters and cut part of the actual wing out on mine!
As well as cutting almost half of the whole inner arch out.
17's don't fit my car so good luck making it work! Haha

O dear, sounds quite extreme lol. Mine seems to have more arch gap than yours going by the pics, so hopefully a bit of arch liner modifying will do the job haha.
Why don't they fit? Your coilover's go so low that the wheels wont move? lol :p

A thread should be popping up on the forum soon, and it's also on ED38 IOC etc.

Keeping it again
Im going to tidy the car up and get it looking cleaner and running well.
Since being mapped my car has had boost fluctuation at full throttle, remembered reading the n75 could be the problem.
I then also remembered i ordered one from Dave at Sere about 6 months ago.
Got it fitted and the car is awesome, hits peak boost quicker and pulls very well now :)
Still alot to do but happy for now!

Well I've got some new wheels on the way! :)
So mine are up for grabs if anyone is interested.
Pair of tyres have just turned up as well which is good.
And finally rolled the last arch last night ready for the new wheels :D

Tyres are 195/40/16 on the front and 195/45/16 on the rear.
But I will be nicking the tyres from the fronts for the new wheels.
Fingers crossed the new wheels will be here tomorrow! :)
Bought them from Lloyd, (L5FLD)
He mentioned he may put them up for sale and I've wanted a set for a long time so I got them :)
Very excited.
Will be spacing the wheels 11mm up front and 13mm at the back for now.
And running 195/40/16 all round.

Erm fitted wheels then kept getting lower!
Don't get me wrong there's a lot of lower Polo's etc out there, but without removing the rear springs/ getting shorter ones, raising engine and chopping stuff up it's not getting any lower!
Needs a chassis notch as well :(
