Possibly the MAP sensor? You said you didn't use the adapter that came with the pipe, so the sensor will be directly in the airflow. I used the adapter, and my sensor sits just on the edge of the pipe.. no issues yet and I've given mine some stick.

Ah thats bad news :( Is it the standard manifold still? I can't remember if you have a hi-flow one or not. I had the same feelings with my car when I had all the turbo problems, I just felt like giving up, but perseverance pays off and now my car is running nicely so I hope the same happens for you.

Good luck with the issues! :)

Don't think it will be the map sensor cos Teresa two different types according to kris. Gonna try mine tomorrow and see If the early cupras have the sensors that don't need the adapter.

Where's the manifold blowing? Don't give up on the car though!

Ive got the INA high flow manifold and ever since it got put on ive had nothing but problems, i reckon its just the gasket thats gone but i think im gonna send my standard one off to Bill to get ported then put that back on as it will be a tight fit!

Im not gonna give up on the car im just gonna leave it for a wee while then sort it!

Ah, I had an INA manifold for my car but I never fitted it as it needed grinding to make it fit. I don't see why a "bolt on" product needed to be modified to fit so I sold it and am still on my standard manifold. Aside from Ric (who I sold my mani to), I can't think of one other person on here thats had no problem with an INA manifold. Feel free to point them out if they exist tho!

I'll have to look into porting the standard one, I didn't realise you could do that. Will be interesting to see how it compares to a high flow jobby!

Standard pipe Jay! That forge upper one is a good bit of kit, I'd recommend.

In that picture your pipe is sitting miles above the crashbar, you must have had to cut all that bracket off to get the bumper back on? Or did you push it down after the pic?

Just got your pm back and end of September will be fine for doing the manifold mate :) can send it down whenever though and it can get done then pay when you have the cash. Just need them gaskets!

The pipe sits more in line with the crash bar now Scott as i had the bumper off again today and refitted it, had to make adjustments as the car went into limp mode twice since installing the pipe! You can see in the pic how much ive cut away where the pipe bends i kind of got carried away with an angle grinder
