Got round to fitting the new intercooler pipe forge released i didnt know about any instructions and sort of went gung-ho with an angle grinder so the bumper would fit over the pipe :cartman:

Looking good mate, have you driven it yet? I notice you took the headlight out also, I didn't do that, I guess it makes access to jubilee clips a fair bit easier lol :p

Cool, I had that when I first had the DV relocation kit fitted, made some nice pops 'n' bangs :D I think my ECU has adjusted to suit now though as there's no more popping unless I'm really booting it. It used to do it with very light use of the throttle. Will be nice if it does it again with this pipe.

I managed to work around the headlight. I'm kinda glad I didn't take it out as I may have alignment issues with my headlights.

I've always had issues with bumper fit though, I think it's to do with the position of the headlights, but I can't adjust the position of them with the bumper on. Something else to fix

Mine doesn't really make many pops or bangs, top of 3rd to 4th or 4th to 5th it really does bang sometimes. With my 1.8 Sri corsa with the system on that you could make it bang at will, wish this was more like that haha hope it does abit more once it's mapped like.

Headlights are only a few bolts to come out once the bumper is off anyway arnt they?

Yeah, 4 bolts, 2 top, 2 bottom. I didn't wanna mess up the alignment though, I've had so many people blinding me with their beam cos they think mine is on. OEM xenons are super bright!

Yeah the boost hose kit does, so I have a spare now. The hard pipe kit came with a slightly longer piece so I used taht for best fitment. DV relocation is already on here :D Looks like Hartosh has the standard boost hose kit from his pics.

I'm jealous of your LSD ric :(

Love the oem hids Rich, saw some for sale cheap once but no bulbs or ballasts etc

Liking the look of the forge boost hose kit too, I can see my bumper been taken off and slapped back on loads of times

I thought about it Scott but i was just so tired and had a bit of a hectic day getting lost a few times

All in it was £1600 but that includes quiafe diff which doesnt fit just so everyone knows i needed a new crown wheel which luckily Vince had one lying around from an old G60 as he does alot of gearbox work, VR6 Clutch, G60 flywheel bolts and bearings for the diff and labour. Expensive but i will make use of it next year as i plan to get a couple of track days done at Knockhill i hope.

been there done that there are two types of diff sizes yours would have been the bigger std size thats why the crown wheel would not fit m8

Guys i installed the bov relocation kit and all i noticed is that the car picks up boost just a little bit quicker when letting go and coming back on during acceleration.

The bov sounds the same like before.

Did you notice something different than that?

(no bangs and pops here either lol...aint running fool boost and timing though due to summer temps :p)

Oh forgot to mention the lower corner of the headlight cover is touching my throttle body hose. Anyone else facing that too?

@Ric dont think ill bother with the DV relocation kit

@Scott the bumper is easy to remove mate ive had mine off twice now and had no problems maybe ive just been lucky.

@barnsley yeh it was a right PIA but lucky for me the garage had a spare crown wheel lying about as they do alot of gearbox work so he just swapped it over and its all good, still cant get enough of the diff though coming off roundabouts is just so fun now!

@brwmogazos nothing fouls on mine bud but i did hack a fair bit of the bumper away so it could go back on as the pipe was sticking out too much.

Have you got any pics now it's all back together? I'd like to see how your bumper lines up with the headlights and wings if possible :) I think mine is slightly out, but it's always been like that since I swapped the headlights.
