Gonna order some Team Dynamic Pro Race 3 wheels aswell as i just love the look of them on Petes car and they are alot lighter than standard hehe these will be fitted with brand new parada spec 2's

Tempted to wait and see what wheels Scott is getting though!

2011 was suppose to be a quite year for the car but ive probably spent more this year than i have altogether

Sounds good mate! You can sell standard wheels for nearly what the pro race 3's will cost you, so keep telling yourself that and spending the money doesn't seem so bad :p what coulour you gonna go for?

Think I've finally decided on wheels, just dunno about the colour now! Desperate to get this quote back so they can crack on making them!

Be careful with the Pro Race 1.3's as ther are wider than the 1.2's for the same wheel diamater (therefore nat as light as the 1.2's)..

Just something to take into account RE the width..

The best looking wheels on a mk4 is BBS CH's, IMO.. They look stunning. BUT they are far from light weight...

Are you going to 18's or just sticking with 17's?

Still unsure mate im going to speak to Scott-o as he seems to know alot abut wheels. Are those BBS CH's the ones that were fitted to Rash Cupras old car? Dont think they would look great on a grey car but they suited his really well.

Would you recommend going to the 18's? Just means tyres are going to be alot dearer and i am trying to keep them lightweight.

Been looking at these aswell http://www.comp.co.uk/wheels/popup.asp?wheel=68

I think the 18's on Rash's car looked a bit too big IMO, tho the design of the wheel on the car looked awesome. You can get them in 17 x 7.5 I think which would suit the car better size wise, but then they may not clear the brakes without spacers like the 18" did.

I do love those Comp's, Steve

Rich, only problem being with BBS rims (of any kind) now is that BBS went under not long ago. So its either reps or what ever remaining stock you can find...

18's would ruin the look and handling IMO. They looked too big on rash's though they looked good still, ran stretched tyres too which Would handle bad and be hards as nails on the bumps.

In 17's ch's come in 17x8.5 in 5x100 and that's it and they are rare as hell too!

Will do alex although i dont think the car will be back in action for over a month lol as the wheels take up to 5 weeks :-o

Yeah that's true, but their website is still up and running. Didn't they get taken over by another wheel manufacturer in the end?
