Either way, it's not good! Don't even think I'd fit one if I got one for free, just massive hassle taking it all off again etc!

Ahh gutted :( weathers been awesome here today, been cold but completely dry so went for a run out with the gf, think she hates my car even more now haha

Yeh I can understand you there with the video! I tried getting an in car one and you can't hear any pops or bangs :( sounds good though Steve, bet your a happy chappy!

How much did it come to when you ordered the 3 gaskets for between head and mani, mani and turbo, and turbo and downpipe if you don't mind me asking?

I wouldnt bud its hard to get to 2 of the nuts to tighten or even loosen. Dunno what to do with this manifold now as its no use to anyone

Yeah im over the moon mate you have no idea how good it feels as i hated the way the turbo was spooling just horrible noises [:@]

It was £15.67 but that was for 2 exhaust to head gaskets and the rest and a pack of 10 manifold nuts so id say around £12 for the 3 bud, i have 1 of each spare just incase anything happens i have them here also have a spare coil pack in the glove box lol

Need to get the car rolling roaded i see awesome are having one in november and me and the mrs fancy a wee road trip so might be tempted by it just for a trip haha

That's a hell of a road trip for you haha our next one is in march, should come to that too and sample Yorkshire :p

Spot on, not expensive at all then! I'm like you with spare coilpacks lol got two in wheel footwell and two in the garage a I fitted 4 brand new ones before it got mapped.

You any idea what weight your flywheel was before it went on? I said to my boss to lighten it to 6kg's, didn't want it silly otherwise idle wouldn't be cool lol measured in at 9.75kg's standard :O

top job from colin again!! ;) braidied hoses next week eh?

I mate i cant recommend colin enough i will be coming to him for all my work now! Waiting till i get the new drive belt bud then get air con removed and fit braided hoses aswell just get it done in one day!

You need to get a new cable mate so i can raise my idle speed as i dont have a working copy yet.

No idea how much it weighed Scott but it rattles like mad hence why i want to raise the idle speed

You need to use Lemmiwinks or CustomSetting (I think that's what it's called) to rais your idle. I used Lemmiwinks when I did it.

my stock exhaust manifold cracked in the exact same place. never heard of problems with aftermarket manifolds failing, i thought only the stock ko3/ko4 manifolds were prone to cracking

i was gonna get my manifold repaired but after seeing how bad it was i was glad i just scraped it for a nice shiney new one

bet your glad to be back running 100% again

Just a small update got some new tyres as i knew the toyos were coming to an end so i got another set of toyos for the front but i found something rather scary when taking the drivers side off :scary:

DSC00202.jpg

Heard a pop last week as if my bumper was being trailed along the ground so slowed right down managed to get home and could only assume it was the tyre but i wasnt ready for that i can only imagine what the outcome would of been if i was on a dual carriage way.

Need to get tracking and 4 wheel alignment done next week as i still aint had it done since putting the coilovers on.
