Yeah I gotta agree with Dan, took mine off ages ago. At first I sort of missed it but now it doesn't bother me at all. If you want, treat it the window with rain repellent, it does help

Saw your car at GTi spring fest and it looks the nuts. The photos in here look great, but they really don't compare to seeing it in the flesh, the wheels look awesome!

Oh, and de-wiper it as others have said. I can't say I've missed mine at all, even over the winter months, and I bet the back of an Ibiza gets much dirtier than a Leon :p

Re: My Leon Progress, Air ride, smoothed, NEW wheels 10.5j and 9j Image ifx's. RUDE!!

car has been off to petersborough after spring gti fest.

Have had the front struts reworked. :) so lower and smoother :)

Also brought a rear wiper blanks!

New rear dampers - adjustable damping.

New front ARB to finally clear my driveshafts. Able to drive her at 100mm drop with no rubbing!

Just gotta fit the few bits now :p

Do you know what size the wiper blank is mate? :)

I shall measure for you in a bit.

The inside glass acts as a plug and the internal bit your see is about 3mm clearance of the hole to allow for expansion.

Its amazing as a daily drive, very comfortable to drive, quick yet still ecomonic!

Black is a hard colour to keep ontop of but as most ppl on here we see i do look after her well, quite hard keepin up with the garage queens are the show and shines though!

Took her to gti spring fest, photos all day long but sadly no trophies!

Lookin to do gti fest and edition38 for sure this year!

Hey guys,

Was a nice evening when i finished work so took a few shots with the phone cam!
Proper happy with the back end now with the wiper gone! soooo smooooth!!
Decided a good idea to dissconnected washer pipe at bonnet end, most prob fit a blank or something to the line to prevent accidental operation.

Must get out and get some awesome shots with an SLR very soon, proper happy with the results.

Car has come on a bit, as front struts have been serviced and rebuilt, so now super smooth operation, have current set it to hardest setting on damping adjustment, not far off coilovers!

Currently have a FK anti roll bar to fit to the front, should give me good clearance of driveshafts, told its good for driving with 100mm drop so we shall see.

Some Spax adjustable rear dampers to replace the standard ones, stiffen up the back end so i can drive her lower, currently catch the tyres occasssionally on our **** british roads!

Rear antiroll bar to purchase next, thinkin to go for the whiteline rear, i was told the front whiteline no good as i would crush it on full drop! haha!

Anyways enjoy!

comments or questions welcome as always :)

love it nick, love the schmidt ML type wheels (i know they are Image's :D)
did you buy them new?

i always said to friends that the ML's would look awesome on a LCR...and was correct :D

perfect mate (except for the rear smoothing, just personal preference, i don't like smoothing, but still looks good :D)

Few toys arrived yesterday :)

New front FW ARB, have gone for this one for the design, its 23mm but the great think is it has a massive 60mm clearance on the driveshafts and states good for 100mm drop :)

How difficult is it to fit the front?? i'm thinkin its a garage job as have to drop the subframe??

I was going for some FK rear adjustable dampers, as the standard dampers are starting to loose their life, considering they've been running with my air ride for 2 years they havent done too bad.
FK had a back order, so i've now got a pair of SPAX adjustable dampers :)

Justing looking at a Rear ARB now so i can do it all at once, i've seen lots of good reports of the neuspeed rear ARB, soooo many different manufactures out there!
