Nice car mate, and I like the progress your making on it. Just what I would do.

I have a black fr so I'm using your car as ideas for mine.

What size brakes are in the sport I'm just wondering if there the same size as the fr. And was it hard changing the needles on the clocks? Did you use a fork?

Andy
thanks man i appreciate it, the brakes are the same size as an Fr. and i just used a piece of cloth and a screwdriver to prize the needles of

Loving the car especially the interior would love the gloss black to match my dials cowled and dsg surround along with the white LEDs to match my dials but unless it was a really good price 3hrs drive is a bit far lol

thanks mate there alot more to come and im sure you can tackle it yourself

Sadly my car has been running badly since early december, it had absolutely no boost at all, after a lot of messing about it turned out to be the actautor rod broken off, I removed the actautor and welded the rod back in place then reassembled it all back onto car also broke the boost control valve so had to get a new one, and after a lot of road testing as adjustments of the rod its finally running as it was…… and it good to have my old car back

heres a few photos on the work carried out.

Hi everyone pretty much the biggest update you'll see on this thread coming up in the next few weeks, I'm super excited to get it all done

The car is currently in a spray shop having the boot sprayed and I also have a full genuine k1 kit going on the car.

Here's some photos of the other goodies going on the car.

Full milltek

Removed the front bumper today ready for the forge intercooler

Not too bad to do, the new intercooler weighed a ton in comparison to the original.

As you can see that the forge badge has been grinded off as it wasn't a product they sold at retail price, but you can just see in the photo that forge was on there ;P

Was a little worried about how it would fit due to it being a intercooler made for testing purposes.

But it wasn't too bad at all.

All happy but won't be road testing till milltek is on

Please let me know your thoughts and comments

More to come soon!!
