What model of coilovers is it you have mate???

I've had a look and there seem to be 2 different kinds of Jamex onesand they only go as low as 60mm and yours looks a lot lower

Jamex coilovers 150117 part number. They fit seat leon cupra r, audi tt 2wd, skoda octavia RS. If you see them advertised as octavia rs or tt 2wheel drive they will still fit as they are the same part number as the leon cupra r ones but some companys are unaware that they fit.

here is were i had mine from http://suspensionuk.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_100_101_102&products_id=94

you can also remove the helper spring aswell which some people do to go lower without the coilovers catching the inside of the tyre..

i had the manifold polished £20 local polishing company. wasnt worth me messing around for that much came out mint!

Cheers for the link mate :D

Does your car bounce around alot with it bein that low, what about catching your tyres on the arches with people in the back or dips in the road???

Did you remove the helper spring??? I take it its safe to remove it then???

no it doesnt bounce 1 single bit. it is very comfortable, not trashy or bouncey at all. i had also had a set of the top spec FKS on another car i had and they ride the same if not better than those. they are brilliant for the money never had a prob with them and the ride is superb. i cant compare against things like koni's as i havnt had them or been in a car with them but these are brilliant for the price. it is basically like the standard ride was hardly any noticeable difference. even over bumps its fine and being as low as it is its ok aswell. i think its because the ride was not exactly luxury class anyway with the 18s and low profile tyres as standard. if anybody is thinking of buying any or in the area and wants to go for a ride then your welcome to try them.

yesi removed the helper spring as ive fitted alot of coilovers at my work to my cars, mates cars and work mates cars and we have nearly always ended up taking it all apart again to remove the helper spring to go that bit lower. and yes its safe. the helper spring is that soft it squashes completly with the weight of the car and is only there to "HELP" adjust the spring height when jacked up i have been told. it doesnt aid with any suspension damping at all
