Weekend jobs are to clean the car inside and out if the weather holds up! Plus to clean and fit this.

After seeing James I had to ditch the Golf arm rest!

Cool. It does look at home with the LCR interior. I know I've not driven my car much lately but I've found it quite difficult to drive with down, especially when being spirited through the gears. It spends more time upright than not... Looks mega though and it'd be nice on the motorway...

Did you have an arm rest fitted before? My Golf arm rest is down all the time know I've got used to it.

I'm looking forward to getting the wheels and coilovers fitted!!!!

I'm booked in at AKS 1st of June to have the coilovers fitted and VT engine mounts. I'm hoping on having the wheels fitted around that time. I'm putting off fitting the wheels until its a touch lower.
It sounds like you guys have been busy. Any closer to fitting a K04 yet? Just don't tell the Misses.

My plans are changing all the time but currently thinking of running this setup for a year or so then go BT after the wedding, but hey you never know what's gonna happen lol :)

The wheels and coilovers should give yours a whole new look I can't wait!:D

Today I've fitted a new splitter so the front end looks better but boy does my car need a re spray.
Also my liquid gauge turned up so while the dash was in bits to fit it I also replaced the broken cup holder.
No photos of the LG as the vent holder was not in the best shap so I've re sprayed it and its still drying. I had a little play with it earlier and it looks a useful bit of kit. Is forth gear to the red line the best way to do a power run?

I'd be happy with 230 to 240bhp. However I'm happy with the way the cars going at the minute what ever the power.

It's on the duel carriage way to Newark. If you leave Lincoln from north hykeham toward Newark it's on you left before you get to the first exit for Thorpe on the hill. It's where the horse racing stud farm was.
They a great bunch and well worth a visit.

I got my LG fitted today and I've got a few fault codes to sort out!

Yeah I've just checked through them.
Ones related to the de cat.
One to starting the car with the wrong key and the immobiliser kicking in.
I'm hoping the other where from when the boost hose piped off the charge pipe. I'll clear them and see if they come back. I also need to fit the post cat Lambda sensor spacer.

The standard DV is still working well but has started making a farting sound on part throttle. So I've rebuilt my Forge DV with the revised pistion.

The AGU pistions I bought off FB arrived today.

Slowly I'm gathering parts to re build my engine.
