It's good to hear you had a good day mate.

Did your car get pranged on the track?

Nah m8,some idiot in the cooling area/parking area looks like a golf parked a bit too close and probably opened there door on my arch, gutted m8 n fuming
My mate did go round looking at the cars but couldn't see anything

Nice to meet you yesterday Si. Car looked well both on and off track.

Gutted for you on the dent. Pricks. Definitely would of known it had happened.

Managed to limp home and yeah. Massive thanks to those that helped.

See you at the next one lol.

Maybe ;-)

cheers pal,glad you got home
ive just spoke to alex and he's gonna have his guy who works for aston martin to get the dent out hopefully, spose to be awesome at it ;) i had a few pics from the morning which might show the car that done it,strange that they never parked by mine after???
we also noticed we left the bags with the drinks,sandwiches/flasks in behind the car then went for a few laps to find the golfs parked there and later on the flask was found smashed?
truly saddened myself as like you,you take a lot of pride in the up keep of their cars for some tool to do this:cry:
also booked in for cambelt and waterpump for september

it was a cracking day though ben the car performed faultlessly, didnt want to overdo it as i couldnt get the bloody bonnet open to let it cool as some others had overheating probs on the day
only 1 suggestion was to rip out my linea R grill thats been carbon wrapped and painted to get at the cable(dont think so) lol

well guys,
had a cracking day at blyton for my first track day
a BIG thanks to matt(bignod) for inviting me down and making me very welcome;)
i was stunned how well matt drives his car and was astounded by how well his car drove on the day,i still need to build up my confidence and trust in my car to drive it aswell as he does,1 thing which is a good comparison is matts car is pretty identical mods wise and he said my car will do the same in time:)
well my car performed very well tbh,the handling was unreal, the brakes which i never really pushed to the max stopped me very well hehe and got me out of a sticky situation after a few laps lol,the rsrs perormed well after been warmed up but really need to leave the td's on next time,i only had 4 stints on track with plenty of cooling down as i couldnt get under the bloody bonnet grrr
was nice to meet a few more scn members also
hope rich(cupra r) got home safely and having a water pipe worn through and leaked everywhere,a few nice people came to his aid and bodged it up to hopefully get him home
ill put some pics up from the flying droid on the day that was taking pics, ive also got over 100 pics from the pit/car park
only downside was some effin idiot pranged my car:censored:[:@] a nice 3 inch gash on my wheel arch
Was really glad you decided to book and come across buddy, was great to finally get to meet you too.

You were doing great out on track buddy, it was nice to be able to watch you get out there and get progressively faster and faster! :D

It was also great to be able to take you out for a spin, once I sort the gopro videos out I'll send the one from our outing across to you!:funk: I was just glad that you felt confident enough to come out on track with me........it's always a great way to compare driving styles etc.....

Looking forward to seeing your photos buddy as I took literally none........hopefully you and your mate managed to get some good ones!

Really gutted about your wing, I was so sad when I looked across the pit lane and saw it......really hope you get it sorted!

Get those pics up on here big man![B)]

updated spec list
popped out for a nice country drive yesterday to pick up some new wheels with tyres on i won on ebay
got there within 2 hours to drive down a single lane out in the sticks upto a house with a farm surrounding it,the wheels were being taken off the car as i got there so i gave them a hand removing them and dropping the seats to stick em in the car until i noticed they were caked in cow crap, and i mean caked in it lol:-o,they were dark green/black inside and covered in flys,im no way putting them in my car so i swapped wheels there and then and hope they came clean on the drive home

a quick clean took more than half an hour just to get them looking decent enough, think it'll need de-tarring also but they had a tiny bit of curbing on and the tyres-Pirelli p zero rosso's with a good half tread all round

not to fond of the colour as i prefer the blacks but ill run these for a few months
