Lovely car mate! My parents have just got an 08 plate Ibiza FR and the difference between the Sport and FR is amazing! Loads of different stuff! Same engine though.

thanks dude!! i considered gettin a sport, even test drove one but then i drove the FR saw all the little extras and my hart was set on the FR!

Yep I cant blame you. Gonna swipe the interior, front grills, rear bumper and plenty other bits off my parents car one night when they're sleeping.

It'll be the wrong colour though.

ok just a quick update! a month or so ago i had a little scrape

all fixed now though!!

well all but the moulding but thats because SEAT sent me a 3 bent ones
so ive gone to TPS to get a full set to be colour coded next week

i had the scrape

slightly mis judge a very tight parking space in the dark and well ooops! good thing work for a BMW dealer and one of the painters done it on the side for me!

I've just removed the FR gear knob from mine, it feels very cheap and nasty to be honest. It's just a bit of leather wrapped around some plastic. Much nicer ones available.

I have the older Ibiza Fr 1.9TDI (same shape - but i belive a face lift took place) and I have 6 Speed box with a normal ball gear knob. I want that FR one but can't find them anywhere!

the FR style gearknob come with the gator suround and about £60iirc

i was gonna say all the other gear nobs on the Seat site are approx £50quid so i cant see em selling the FR one for less than half that. Seriously tho anyone selling one or know someone breaking an FR diesel pm me so i dont get wrong for hijaking threads

Nice work! Colour match ok? Mine's been painted everywhere pretty much and its a pain in the arse to match the colours. Looks like a rainbow in the sun! haha!

the colour match looks spot on. although need to wait for the sun to be sure! the dude at work was a trained rolls royce painter so he should know how to match it
