My Ibiza 2023 FR

Got myself a brand new Ibiza FR 2023.

Im getting abit old now, so I wont be changing this car as I have done in the past.

Just some small mods that i think the car should have had from the factory.

First thing I did was to change the rear turnsignal lamp. Allways hated that yellow look. I bought the Osram Diadem Chrome P21W. A little bit better. I also the opportunity to change the backlight to a LED ive got from Amazon, Aglint W16W LED, works ok but had to change it to a LED lamb in obdeleven otherwise it showed an error.

I have played with obdeleven a little bit. Mods so far.

Fan speed on Auto mode
1. Select Control unit 08 (Air Condition)
2. Long Coding
3. Name: Blower display in auto operation
4. Change value to "activated" [standards: "Not activated"]

Seat belt warning deactivation
1. Select Control unit 17 (Dash Board)
2. Security access > Access Code: 25327
3. Long Coding
4. Name: Seat belt warning
5. Change value to "Off" [standard: "On"]

Missing tank liters [WORKING]
The same coding can be obtained by spending 10 credits
1. Control Unit 17 (Dashboard)
2. Long Coding
3. Byte 10
4. Enable Bit 4

Fan speed in automatic mode (Climatronic bi zone) [WORKING]

Long Coding:

AFS_CODING_LIGHT_ASSIST –> HIGH_BEAM_ASSIST

Reset multimedia unit (push the power button over 10 seconds to restart the unit)

Activate the Light Assist in Light Settings (multimedia unit)

Push the high beam lever to activate the Light Assist (high beam icon with A). To turn it off push and pull the lever or change the option in settings.

Virtual Cockpit Sport [WORKING]

Today I finally got the time to change the foglights, always wanted to have LED in the fogs so they match the LED headlights.

I bought the Osram LEDriving FL H8, they are not the brightest once, but I didnt want that, only the colour change. I also picked up AggSound Auto Trim Removal Tool set 5 pieces, from amazon.

Its a really good colour match to the original. Very happy with the result. It want that hard to change, was a little bit afraid of removing the black plastic, but once you get it a little bit open it was easy with the plastic tools.

The coding to set up the foglightst as DRL took some time, the normal DRL seemed to get brighter for some reason.

Next project is to change the mirror turnsignal

Hopefully I also can get around and change the chrome grill thing or paint it black.
