My gearbox woes

Cant beleive my luck lol when i first got my cupra r a bolt got into the cambelt casing and sheared off the bottom cambelt pully teeth snapped the belt ended up doin a full top end rebuild spent a lot of money replacing all hoses induction kit tip ultimate cambelt kit a load of sencers new discs and pads all round tbh it took blood sweat and tears finally got the car running good now the gearbox has totally ablitarated itself and now its just sat there covered in dust and cobwebs lol i spent a good couple of grand getting the car to its current state it has only covered 60k and is in lovly condition and now i just dont no what to do with it ive lost heart in a way and money is tight as ive already spent all my savings on the car im at a loose end with this im quite good with mercanics as ive already done a full top end rebuild but doin a gear box on the pavment doesnt sound appealing lol plus ive never done a gearbox on a car like this . I looked at boxes on ebay but u dont no what your gettin can imagin strugglin to do it then its got a problem cause its a 200k box lol tbh im really disheartend:cry:

Have you spoken to an garages to see how much a reconditioned box would cost to fit?

If you can get hold of a good box and have it delivered to the garage of choice then tow your car there to have it fitted may be worth while.

Sounds like its a nice car and in good condition with low mileage.
