it could just be fadeed i.e the doors have been sprayed with the right colour its just that the rest of the car has faded over time, red cars are known to fade

One of several reasons I chose a black one 200miles away rather than a newer red one about 5 miles away. Black looks better anyway :)

How long have you had the car? As said if its that noticeable did you didnt ask? I know its diffciult not to get excited about buying a new car so if it wasnt overly obvious the easy to miss i guess.

I rememver getting my old alfa 156 resprayed after it took a knock it was proteo metallic red which was fantastic but the garrage managed to blend it to a nice shade of pink at the end! Needless to say I switfty took it back.

Thats not what you said. Besides red is faster due to the mixture of a solid colour being lighter than that of a met. paint option, you get more paint with black (hense costs more) and inturn weights more.

So a red car is infact lighter, and therefor quicker.

guess that's why all/most ferraris are red ;)
