It was a full wash by hand, inside and out that's why it was cheap. Much better for your paint than those automated scouring pads at ARC that scratch and destroy your paint.

Couple of little updates.

Fitted my stubby mirror finally and fitted a bolt on TRS tow strap.

Got a build thread?

I did it myself, its lamin-x. It's really easy to fit, its just a film.

In other news, blasted car is doing my head in with its over sensitive alarm. 4 times in the past hour its gone off!

Factory fit alarm, wouldn't VAG-com be able to identify which sensors tripping it? Might be a faulty sensor/switch somewhere...

Yeah factory fit. Maybe, but I don't have Vagcom, just a cheap fault code finder. I've moved it up the road and it seems to have stopped now. Thinks it was just the buses driving past my house getting too close to my car.

yeah coz crayford is only round the corner from broadstairs lol!

Yeah, but it's much closer to Rainham, and someone owes me some leather door cards

Anyway, got a wiki page for fault codes, so provided we get some, I can show you what they are and mean. Read one thread where the bonnet switch was dodgy causing the alarm to go off! Ahh, cars. Got to love them
