It is quiet mine was but after a couple of days it got louder. What way have you fitted it. Also remove the sound proofing from under the bonnet this will make it sound louder. Also either smooth/drill the standard airbox or fit a cone filter to give it a louder sound.
the split r diverter valve gives off a much louder blow off noise than the 007p but like dav3 says get a cone filter then the valve will almost tripple a lot of people on this forum seem to go for the 007p over the split r how come?
I had 2 splitter-r's and they both experienced the same prob of leaking boost. So ended up getting a 007. Would still by another splitter-r tho miss the sound so much better. I know of many people who are using splitter-r's and they are all fine. (think I'm jinxed) You can get same affect as the 007 by fitting the blanking screw that came with your splitter-r
to be honest, i must admit that after driving it about last night, it does feel like it pulls better, even my mates agreed. The bosch used to make a nice little tshhh noise, but to be honest, the 007p has got a bit louder. Is it possible to fit the 007p the other way round? The bottom connector into the left hand pipe and the left hand in the bottom pipe? Or could this cause it not to run as good?
I do belive its safe to run it in reverse but from what I've been told you may experience a bit more turbo lag. Also I've heard running it this way gives off a chink type sound
