Hmmm looks like I'm sorted then :) How many ring terminals did you get through in the end? Want to be sure I order everything I need in one hit really

2 one for the fuse box and one for the earth in the boot, 3 if your going to renew the starter motor cable also. IMO i wouldnt bother.

Sorry mate just noticed you asked 'what' block i used, i cant remember exactly it was just one from a audio shop, SML springs to mind?

Starter Motor ---2AWG--> Dist. Box
Dist. Box ---4AWG (flexi)--> Battery--->Metal in boot
Dist. Box ---4AWG--> Fuse box

Is this correct then?

Yeah, if someone who is in the process of ordering all the bits just post up the links that would be cool of them.

4AWG is fine for battery to dizzy block and to fuse holder and i just used the existing cable from the starter motor to dizzy block. Its what ive used with no problems at all.

Dont forget that the port on its own will have the cable from the boot go to it not the other way around after all that port will distribute power to the other ports IE starter motor and fuse box, and WMI in my case ;)

IMO this is wrong. Or i could be wrong?

The starter motor wont be the item distributing the power to the other cable.

The setup I have works fine, tested it with a multimeter and for any drains in the system.

The reason it looks wrong is becuase my distrobution block is designed for grounding multiplue amps rather than directing the flow of electricity but they all work in the same prinicple of distrobuting the power from the battery to the componments.

The setup all depends on the distrobution block

Had my bits arrive this morning from Car Audio Direct :D

Benny, when you mention about the inputs/outputs on these dizzys can you clarify what you plumbed the starter motor cable into?

Going by your pic it looks like you used one of the 4 available 4AWG outputs and the 2AWG input for the battery using 4AWG cable??

Ah, didn't think you NEEDED one.... Any gains by having one? How much do they cost? Do I need to loko for a specific spec etc?
