closing curtains tonight, looked out at car, thought that's strange, the passenger mirror hasn't closed which i knew was unlikely as i kind of watch 'em as they close before i get out  .

went out to car, sure enough mirror wasn't just out, it had also been pulled back the wrong way i.e. beyond it's open position [:@] . looked it over as best i could in the dark, didn't appear damaged at all so don't reckon a car or anything has hit it, it's been manually pulled out by some tos*er.

thought it was f*cked as it just moved freely backwards and forwards with no resistance, however when i pushed it into the folded in position i heard and felt a biggish click. got in car, tested them, appear to be fine.

i realise they're probably designed to be manually pulled out if need be (and pushed in) but i'm still pissed that some idiot has obviously been walking past my car and mucked about with the mirror :censored: .

just wanted to share my anger with you!

yeah you should be ok, they're designed to give a little. People who do stuff like that to other people's motors should be castrated.
