Its 95% sure stoners going to honda. Yamaha are definatly dropping one of the 2 because they cant afford the pay for them. I think stoner will be good for honda espically as theyre having trouble getting the thing to last at race pace petrol wise and making the tyres last, and stoners good at the developing side of things. I can see pedrosa getting dropped rather than dovi just because hes been in motogp since 2006 and not won. Nicky Hayden won the title for honda and they still dropped him a few years later. I could talk about it for hours but I better shut up now but my final prediction for next year is
Honda: Stoner and Lorenzo
Yamaha: Rossi and Spies
Ducati: Hayden and Kallio or Pedrosa.
and Dovi on a factory backed gresini honda.

Could see that happen tbh

Il go for-

Yamaha- Rossi, Spies
Honda- Stonner, Ped
Ducati- Lorenzo, not sure for the 2nd seat prob Hayden

The more i think about it the harder it is, i can see honda staying with dovi instead of ped, i mean hes 3rd in the table atm.

Guess will see later in the year ;)

I'll stick with my prediction but Yamaha would be absolutly bonkers to let Lorenzo go. Rossi only has 3 more seasons at most at the unbelievable level hes at so if I was in charge I would be letting Rossi go.

The injury will end Rossi’s proud record of never missing a race in his career that started way back in 1996.

Tomorrow’s Italian MotoGP race will be the first time in 231 races that Rossi has not started.

Iv idolised that guy since I was 8, I have to admit I was close to tears and can see this being one of them career changing injuries that you never quite recover from. Theres something about Lorenzo I cannot stand either will be annoyed as he will certainly win the championship now.

Agree with that, followed him since race 1 to now and gutted as i was going to silverstone this year to see him for the first time :(

As for the injury tbh theres no way u forget somthing like that, its gotta be in the back of ur head each time u go round a corner.

Still let hope he comes bk next year fully fit and someone else apart from lorenzo wins the champ ;)

Thats what makes them 'alien' though - they have these injuries and as long as they can sit on a bike and work it then they will. Scary and I couldnt do it, but thats why they're at the level they're at!

Its going to be down to Lorenzo/Pedrosa now, my money is on Pedrosa...

Nope, decided to go to the British GP after several years at Donny and the feeling of being ripped off for everything and hemmed in like sardines. Not fun and that was in the days of Foggy et al. :(

WSB and BSB are a much better proposition in this country or go and watch the GP abroad (much better experience imo).

I hope those that did go enjoyed it as the battle for second started and finished on the stripe.

I went to it and was immensly dissapointed. Not really a bike racing circuit no matter how much money they pump into it. Donnington was great because if you sat on the grass banks across from starkeys bridge you could see craner curves, the old hairpin all the way up to redgrave I think its called. But on a 2 minute lap at silverstone the most I could actually see was the approach to chapel and a bit of maggots(which is such a **** name for a corner) and that was it..... And to top it off your totally right about the abroad GP's being better value for money. 120 euros for the whole weekend at Valencia. Next years silverston advance tickets are already more than that.[:@]

i was dissappointed with silverstone too. brought my ticket in september last year at the bsb and was told that a lot of the grandstands were coming down and being replaces with grassy banks.

there was one piece of banked watching spot and that was in the motorhome parking area fenced off from the general pubilc

i think us bikers got well and truely fu*cked over when the f1 went back to silverstone.
