MOT Sat - New Tyres needed for Ibiza FR 1.9 TDi

You've got the same size as my car (Furby vRS). When my Toyos wore out (after 13k miles) in March I replaced them with Rainsport 2s. I have become to like them.

My MOT is soon and I think my rear tyres are at 2mm are so, although strangely they are GSD3s too. So I'm therefore after some new ones. I'm tempted to go for Uniroyals again, or maybe Kumhos.

I see you've gone for Rainsports, Where did you buy them from?

Hi Jim,

Unfortunetly event tyres who I always use and ordered them through last night phoned me today and said they didn't have the Rainsport 2s in Stock, which meant that they couldn't fit them in time for my MOT.

So I've had to go for my 2nd choice which was the Kumho KU39s instead, which are being fitted tomorrow. I'll let you know how I find them.

I know this question wasn't aimed at me, but I got mine (RainSport 2 205/45/16 83W) for about £75 inc fitting and balancing through www.bestbuytyres.co.uk. Was cheaper than Blackcircles at the time.

My car was originally on Kumho KU39s but as they were wearing low I replaced them with 452's Wasnt driving on Kumho's for too long as the car is new to me but they are a lot quieter and grippier than the 452's i have on now.

452's are still 'scrubbin' in on the rear though
