So spent the morning doing a little wrapping.

Wrapped the lower diffuser area and scuttle pannel in gloss black.

The rear lights with fly eye kit.

Also note the new LEON badge in metal with black enamel centre :)

Wrapped interior areas in carbon.

Also added these side stripes last week, they are very subtle being black on grey (excuse dirty car :-( ):

That looks superb. Congratulations and well done. I must say that in regards to the badge, it is one of the very first ones I actually like - I, for some reason, hate black-wrapped badges. This just looks magnificent!

All looks smart Rik. Gives me an idea of what it would look like on my car as it's a similar colour. The letters look better than the ones I tried as well. :)

Liking your idea on the scuttle panel. Was thinking of wrapping mine too in either gloss black or carbon.

Apparently vinyl will not stick to the scuttle " so i got told at my local vinyl shop "because of the finish on the plastic. He maybe wrong but if it can be done il be doing that carbon. Anyone actually done this ?

Seems a few people have copied CraigD's side stripe now!

You can wrap the scuttle but you have to cut the original finish right back so the vinyl sticks. Sand it back and use a little bit of vinyl as a tester to check the stickiness before doing the whole lot. Mine had loads of black dressing on it so i cut the finish back with sandpaper - coarse to smoother grades, built up some clear layers on the scuttle with a clear lacquer and once dried applied CF vinyl. Win!

Think its the black 2 option fly eye. Its the one they say goes well with dark cars.

As for the scuttle I just gave mine a clean and wrapped it straight on, no sanding or anything.

Nothing wrong with being a McLaren fan is there? :) I also have Help for Heroes on the other side and on the front grill.

Most important is the Seatcupra.net badge in the middle above the wiper :) Although must admit not very happy that you can't really see it even tho it is red.

Hi mate.
The dash panels are a bit tricky to unmount but doable.
First you must take off the cd player panel. you need 4pcs of metal strips to put in the tiny holes on unlock the panel.
Heres a video (not by me) how to make it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zjl0szO4s0
After that there is a bunch of screws 4-6pcs holding the Airconditioning controlpanel in.
Note. There are a few screws on the bottom of the panel (where you removed the cd player).
When the screws are out it will just pop out by using some force.
The wires coming in to the aircon panel are really short so that will cause some hard effort to remove. Use flat headscrew driver to pop out the lock from the wiring and pull out the wiring bunch.
The dashboard is also attached only by a few screws. (dont really remember where they all are) but mainly it also will come off by just giving it a huge yank (dont mean a large american). :D
AAND youre done
