Morini's Mk3 Cupra 280

If I posted a pic of my current car as it is at the moment you'd probably cry. It hasn't been washed since the order for the Cupra was placed and it has been driven in muddy fields, the lot!

Got bored with red so had a go at respraying it white. Think it needs another coat.

Seriously though, don't know what came down in the rain but this morning the car was covered in orange/brown circles where the raindrops had dried and left it looking fillthy. The OCD in me couldn't leave it on there, even though the sky is black and it looks like it will rain again.

Had a crack at fitting the missing lower part of badge.

Makes the car much faster

Was only a mini detail really. Just a decontamination and light polish with a finishing pad. Main reason was to get a base for a protective coat. Did the wheels in an earlier session on the bank holiday Monday, so that saved me a load of time.

On an unrelated note, drove it in the dark for the first time tonight. Headlights are awesome!

Yeah. Drove mine for the first time in the dark recently too. Though I did notice that the dew on the grass looks like frost with the pure white lights!!!!

Postie just brought me this

I'm a big fan of FK1000P but thought I's give this a go over winter. They seem to rave about it on DW and I fancied a change.
