modding an AFT engine...

whats the most i can do to my AFT engined cordy? im not gettin a new engine until atleast september and want to get the most out of it.
im thinking:

cam(already bought)
lightweight pullys,flywheel and crank
re-bore to 1.7 or more
bigger pistons
twin 40's
short shifter and close ratio gearbox
skimmed head to max level
streanthend valves
uprated fuel,oil and water pump
twin fan radiator
silicone hosing
2.0 head
aluminium gaskets
re map

is there anything else anyone could think of?
and would all this work?

2.0 head won't swap out, the bore is pretty much at the maximum (same block as the 1.4) you'll have to rev it to kingdom come to get it to move, rev limit is 5800 at the moment.

the gear ratio's are already pretty short too, and there's no short shift either

Sorry, all I've said is negative.... but given I have one in the van, it's just not a nice engine

i know, its possibly the worse engine iv had in a car. do you recon i should wait till the engine swop then?

yeah, as long as you're not replacing it with something worse.
