Hi all, my wife has an 05 Ibiza 1.4 Sport and the front tyres need replacing.

Current size is 205/45-16 but she is wondering can we put slightly less low profile on as the road noise is pretty loud and bumpy?
I was thinking 205/55-16 but not sure if this is possible or if it will make much difference??

Plus, I guess if I change 2 of the tyres for bigger profile then I need to change the other 2 also?

Cheers, Dan.

I've got a question; what is the minimal size of alloys that fits around the Seat Sport / AP Racing Brakes on een Ibiza Cupra '05?

16" or 17" and which ET?

Just try wheel from ibiza of your frend on this site
I think 16-th with 43 ET.
I know this from one girl, she use 16th and 205/45/16 with winter tire, on Ibiza FR 06 normal wheel (summer) for this car 17-th...

The stock tyres are very noisy, even winter tyres more quet that Ibizas stock.
1) You can just buy new tyres by another brand with normal size
2) if u need more comfort, the best way change to 15'' 195/55-60/R15, 195/60/15 max.size
3) I think, difference between 45-55 is ok, but, are you sure that wheels are NOT very big for front wheelpair?
4) Yes- you need to change all 4 wheels.

My alloys are immaculate just now. No kerbing.

A friend has offered me the ones of his A4 to put on and save my original Seat 15in for resale time.

I have no idea if they fit or not.

205/45/ 17 - that keeps the wheels the right size for the gearing, what do I need for 16 in wheels to keep the gearing correct?
