small up date got my wheel arch liners in now and my ss ic brakets are on in place just waitin to wednesday now for it to arrive then pipe work then bumper then i can drive it stil some small bits to do got to order all the grills yet but hay just want to drive it now.
have a bit of bad news ordered my ic pipe work today hopein to get it for monday turned round said it wil be 3 weeks as they need to ship it in gutted

its now back on the road done 6o miles already one thing iv noticed is havin the standered side mount intercooler it seams to smoke more is this normal or not.
i have to say mine is less smokey with the FMIC and pd160 intake. so im guessing the air/fuel ratio is better now.
so when i get the forge pipe work on my ss ic it should stop smokin as much then.
i managed to get a side mount ic the other day of tom built it up and went for a spin has a really bad boost leak wasnt till i removed the pipes again that i found there were no O rings on the hoses.lets just say that there was a bran new audi tt really close with his roof now so i put my foot down that much smoke came out ya couldnt see him

Yes mate, with a side mount it will smoke more, mine did smoke mega with a side mount and now with a fmic, it hardly smokes at all compared to before, and the map hasnt been tweaked.. yet. Its to do with the air with a fmic is much cooler and so the oxygen level is better or something like that.. therefore creating a better combustion

my ss ic is now on and workin feels great.Also im buyin some pre face fr wheels which im pickin up on sunday hopefully which will be on in summer when iv refurbed them some time just got to think of colour of what to do them now
