Going to start off with a brief background of the car.

Have owned since Nov '11. Saw an Ibiza for sale near me after writing off my clio. Loved everything about it so started the hunt for a decent one as closer inspection showed obvious neglect and a bodged accident repair. Was originally looking for something with a little more power but this came up and was well worth the 4.5k, 2 1/2 hr drive to robinsons seat in lowestoft to pick it up and the 4hr drive back (getting lost). Its a 06 1.4 sport, silver with only 14.5k on the clock when I picked it up with a fdsh including cambelt change. Was too good to say no.
Being my first vag after a 106 and a clio, it never fails to impress me amd has a surprising amount of grunt from a standard 1.4 engine.

At present modifications I've done are as follows:
  • FR/Cupra rear lights
Euro Rear Cluster with cree led for fog light
    LCR Splitter
    Black Mirror Covers
    Heko Wind Deflectors
    Debadged Rear
    Dewipered rear
Pioneer Headunit and vibe black death active enclosure
    Momo Gear Knob
    Cupra Vent Switches
    Cupra Handbrake Cover
    FR Upper Grills
Black Centre Grill w/ C.Fibre Wrapped Badge
    Red Tailored Car Mats
Carbon Fibre Effect Bonnet Bra (now in my room)
Osram Gold Tipped Nightbreaker Plus' headlights, Osram sidelights, Silvertec Indicator bulbs, Golf Interior Light with blue led centre and xenon map bulbs and led boot light
    Stubby Aerial
Various small bits of carbon wrapping in centre console
Red Shinny Washers In Engine Bay
Porsche Coolant and Oil Caps, Forge Washer Cap
And Finally Private Reg with Europl8 pressed plates

Overall goal for the ride are alloys, static drop, good stance while trying to keep it oem. On the performance side of things I only have the thoughts of an induction kit and exhaust in mind.
As the title suggests, picking up a set of touareg 17's fully sprayed in gun metal metallic with tyres that are in pretty good nic on thursday. Now on the lookout for vw to porsche 130 adapters.

Hope you enjoy the thread. Comments both positive and critical welcome

Have stumbled across a full set of Fr rear lights for £125. I personally think this is good value as I worked it out as a lot more when trying to source individually. Opinions please. Get paid friday and its itching to go on the car

Took another pic of the splitter whilst fixing my window switch. Decided to have a mind of its own and opened and closed at will :/

Finally got around to fitting the new shinny bolts and washers that have been in my boot for about a week.

Dismantled my standard grill to get the badge from it to be wrapped. Started this last night

Wrapped badge on an all black replacement from ebay. Came without a badge so had to use my own.

And here it is fitted

I think it looks absolutely mint and makes the front end look a lot meaner. Undecided whether to paint the inserts of the badge or to leave silver as the cars silver.
