MK4 Headlight Springs

Hi
Can anyone tell me where i can buy the retaining spings for the headlight covers on a mk 4 ibiza? I dropped 2 when i was replacing the headlight bulbs

I doubt you can get them mate as theyre part of the unit. I think youve got 3 options without buying a new light:

1. Take off your engine undertay as this is where they will hopefully be - Jack up the car (maybe not necessary) and undo the 10 or so Torx T-20 screws. They may have disappeared however if youve driven fast
2. Get some from a scrappers yard, but make sure they dont see you
3. Drive with them off and risk getting a damp light - but lets face it, itll get damp anyways

Scrappers prob best bet....they prob won't even charge you

or even try the dealers, they might have a few lying around, that they have forgot to fit
