Owners/users of the FR First Edition help me out..!

The current brochure says heated seats/steering wheel as standard on the FR First Edition.. none of the ones I’ve looked at have it? I’m confused..

Also.. does *any* model have a heated windscreen? One dealer said the Excellence Lux but I can’t see it on the spec.. ??‍♂️

Mine doesn't but it's not the plug-in hybrid one just eTSI, they might of added it on the phev first edition.

None of the pricelists I've seen mention anything about a heated windscreen, however in my experience the demist windscreen button in the iClimate menu works really well although I havent tried it when frozen:LOL:

Yeah that’s the one I’m looking at (FR First Edition MHEV). The brochure and dealers can’t seem to agree when I email though. Hoping a current owner can say for sure. I can’t imagine they would change the spec between 20 & 70 and add them in so fingers crossed. :)

No point in me paying extra for a plug in at this stage. Don’t think I’d actually plug it in that often.

Mines a 70 plate but was made way back in February/March.

None of the other 2 first editions I've test driven had heated seats/steering wheel either.

I have a MHEV First Edition a 70 plate but not sure what the build date is. It also does not have heated seats,
the actual seats are the cloth ones thats is fitted to the FR and not the suede ones fitted to the FR Sport.
I find that a bit strange as all the other features are the same as the “Sport” and better.
Hope that helps.

Its weird the only advantage of the fr sport over first edition in my opinion is the seats, Theyre electric and heated it's like seat forgot about them in the first edition.

The black box on the floor under the front seats is the mhev stuff

On RHD cars the battery is under the driver's seat and the DC-DC Converter(the thing which charges the 12v battery from 48v) is under the passengers seat

The button to control the heated seats will be right before the passenger side temperature in the top bar, if enabled/fitted

The early price lists(August 2020) didn't have heated seats, heated seats have only been checked of the first edition since the release of the phev first edition.

The black box under the seat I believe is the 48volt battery for the mild hybrid

The spec of first edition has changed, old ones dont have heated seats, sunroof and the XL driving pack as the new phev, but get DCC (dynamic chassis control) this has been removed on the newer ones and the driving pack medium.
