Just ordered Cupra SC 265 with DSG in alor blue.. poll doesn't have that option though so can't vote. :)

In Finland we can have a 265 also with DSG.

Hi, I'm just looking at the online brokers for deals on a 3dr 280 manual.

Just wondering if anyone has managed to negotiate over 20% off list in conjunction with the 50% deposit HP deal at 0% finance?

Feel free to PM me!

Cheers

My Cupra ST was £27k before the £1k deposit was taken off. So overall it was £26k on 0% with the following extras:
Metallic paint
Multi spoke wheels
Sun roof
Full link
Leather
Seat sound

If you're prepared to by through a bronze - Google the car with the brokers - should be looking at 5 - 6 k discount 22-23 basic + extras for your spec.

My ST cupra is in the boat. Could pick it up in two weeks or so but think I will resist and get a 65 plate on it.

In Slovenia I got 10% off on the final price, you don't get any more discount on cash, they offer extra 1000€ discount on leasing ( 3 years ).

I got £6,000 off a £28,000 car via a broker so that's 21%. Not too shabby.

The quote I got in March is pasted below .........

SEAT LEON HATCHBACK 2.0 TSI Cupra 280 5dr
Solid - Emocion red
Leather bucket seat pack – Leon
Seat sound pack – Leon
Electric sunroof

Total Discounted OTR Price of £23553.00

Our broker fee to set this deal up for you would be £295.

Has anyone had a satisfactory explanation for the shortage of grey (standard) Cupra alloy wheels?

I was told by my salesman that they are hand finished somewhere in Eastern Europe (old eastern bloc country but can't remember which) and take many hours to do each one... if true then the increasing popularity of our chosen chariots will put increasing strain on their production abilities.

Mine was en route 9 weeks after order (March) with standard wheels. No mention of a delay although the rumours were around.

If the suggested lead times are accurate there won't be many standard wheels on the roads for some time!
