Are you sure the Mk4 CUPRA will be available March 2020? The CUPRA usually launches a while after the new Models of the Leon are available.

Mine took over 7 months so I would suggest August at the latest. However if the spec you want is in stock, you would obviously get it a lot sooner.

But not the friends and family discount. For SEAT orders, has to be NHS employee. Broker is motorsourcegroup but part of same group as forces direct. Good discounts..

I keep thinking it's 1 speed DSG since the gears are so bloody smooth.

is it the dry clutch or is it a wet one? I heard that the dry clutch cannot cope with much torque so assumed it is a wet one, but can't find any info on it.

Since tuners run them with +600nm torque I wouldn't worry to much

I think you might have a problem with that as the Mk.3 will be out of production by then but the Mk.4 (at least the Cupra version) probably won't be available until the end of 2020.

Your only option might be to order shortly and get the dealer to hold it until March (they do do that but not sure for how long). I don't know when the order book for the Mk.3 closes but I wouldn't be surprised if its soon as they've already restricted the colour choice to just three.

The dry clutch version is only used on 1.2/1.4 engines (petrol, not sure about the diesels).

Change of plan for me. The leasing company now has the car in stock right now, but not mystery blue. Decided to change my order to a Magnetic grey one and delivery is early/mid June! Now have to panic prepare the Astra for its return.

I'm with LO. Was 14 days (give or take bank holidays) from getting all finance docs, scanning and returning signed copies to getting the car.

My car arrived 7th May. So all done recently.

So finally a delivery date Tuesday next week im collecing my R ST

Had a call from Johnson's Seat earlier giving me a provisional build date of 17th June with delivery end of July. Also got offered compensation for the delay. Either a cheque for £200, the first service free or a voucher worth £250 to buy Seat accessories.

Anyone else been offered compensation for the delay?
