Fraid not, ordered mine on the 19th June and still don't have a build date

Asked for an update from the dealer earlier this week and there has been no changes to the order status since the 19th.
Apparently they are now quoting a 18 week lead time for Cupra's due to "the number of vehicles they have to build" !

That's strange, I mean I know they have a lot of interest and long build times but I ordered mine 19th June as well and two weeks ago I got a build week of 30 which was 21st July. I got an email today saying its on way to docks so be ready 1st week of September.

Was yours through a main dealer?

Takes the piss big time, they give the perception they don't know there head from there arse, how can a company do business like this. How can someone who placed an order in May still not have a build week and someone who ordered in June have a car in transit ready for the 1st of Sepy, where is the logic??

Also how can you have a build week of 30 when the factory is shut from 15 July till the 2nd Sept??

My dealer first said that my car would be built on week 31, so the factory shut downs from the 1st August to 1st september (sorry for my grammar)

That's crazy fast... surely this must be a car that was already in the system and happened to match the configuration you ordered?

6 weeks from order to delivery would be pretty amazing judging by how long most other orders are going through at the moment

And yep, mine is through an official dealer listed on the Seat website.

I was told the factory would be shut beginning of August, so plenty of time to build a car and before then and ship it out. My car is pretty standard so might be why it's gone through quickly.

Well my dealer explained that there is a shortage of engines and rims for the 280. That gives an extra delay of at least 4 to 6 weeks minimum atm.

On the Biza Cupra you can, so I'm surmising the Leon is the same.

Off on jollies to France in the Cupra next weekend. Still interested to know if there is some way to change the girlies voice to a bloke? She's getting on my nerves a bit now! There will be three females in the car so could do with some male backup, even if it is virtual.

Bad news, the Biza sat nav you could, but the 280 I can't find how to, so I presumed wrongly.

Not too far down this time. Booked a place near Lorient at last minute for a short break. We usually go to the Dordogne area, but this wasn't really a planned trip. Just fancied getting away for a week. Where you heading?

Have already put the high viz jacket and throw away breathalyzers in under seat drawer. Bit tight fisted that the Cupra doesn't come with a warning triangle though. Had to nick it out of my Saab.

I have a magnetic one, but I'm not going to use it. Euro number plates should be fine I reckon.
