I have heard you can get an AUX input adapter that connects to the CD changer plug on the new seat leon's standard head unit so i can use iPods etc...

Can someone please link me to a place that has this item I need for sale from a reputable location.

Thanks :)

I thought i needed to take the headunit out, Plug in an adapter with 8 pins or something and then connect the 3.5mm jack cable into this?

I have no Aux In adapter in my seat leon at the moment...

yes, the back of the headunit has CDC input ad ground connections, so you might have to make up your own cable.

I was told that there is a cable/adapter available that you can buy which you just connect and away you go. All I want is someone to link me to this cable.

Adapter

Yeah... I've got one that plugs into the back of the headunit, comes with a little box (that fools the headunit into thinking it is a CD changer) and comes with a 3.5mm jack that plugs directly into your iPod/MP3 Player/Whatever the in thing is at the moment.

It is fairly simple to install and easy to use and I got it from ebay... one can be bought here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LINE-IN-AUX-I...6068377QQihZ002QQcategoryZ75307QQcmdZViewItem

However... if you like I am more than happy to flog you mine for £20 plus P&P... I have just sold my car so won't be needing the adapter any more. Just PM me if you are interested.
