ok now ive got some time to myself......ive got a few niggles to sort out

my rear window wiper......now i have water going into the motor but its not spraying on my window! its just running along the bottom of the windscreen and its gonna cause a lot of rot just now!!

how do i get it spraying again?

also im having problems with the rear lock seizing every now and then. loads of wd40 and tinkling and its not working! is it easier to just replace the whole unit??

agh the joys of finding the little awkward jobs when you have loads of spare time!

got so much more little niggles i can sort too! im far too picky cos cars fine ha

and yeah central locking but it sticks when you press the boot button in. pain in ass really! wd-40 only fixes it for a min. think ill just get a new lock!

now finding mk2 cupras in scrappy? haha

Re: rear wash/wipe - could be the nozzle, or it may be that the pipe is kinked somewhere upstream thus reducing delivery pressure at the nozzle. Saying that tho, kinks in the pipe usually mean the pipe blows apart at the joint upstream of the kink...

There's no F in Quality..
usually the pipes pop apart where the 'L' joint is behind the passengers side rear lamp. Then when you try and use the rear screen wash, you end up filling your rear lights with water !!!!

That's what happened to my old Mk2!!

If you've got working central locking, then you won't ever actually need to use the key for the new boot lock anyway!
