Painted with 5 coats of the hammerite smooth red out of a can. Not completely happy with the finish but it will do they been drying for 10 hours now and become sort of touch dry but still very soft, looks like its gonna take weeks to harden :censored:

What are they doing on the carpet?? Go put them on, don't use the cold as an excuse I've seen your heater in the garage ;) and you're off work!! They have come out really well! Makes me want to just bloody buy some and stop being a fanny!

Paint is touch dry but its still too soft to install just yet, I think too much handling or abit of brake fluid will strip the paint. Gonna give it another few days to see if it hardens, also I want to order 2 new brembo bleed valves from sere.

ok before fitting i now need to order 2 new bleed valves as i have 2 missing. Also the Goodridge red braided hoses i got wont fit as they dont go all the way to the caliper they go to the hard pipes on the back of the caliper which i dont have with my brembos. iam gonna stick them on ebay and ask Bill at badger 5 see if he has braided hoses that go all the way to he caliper

I hate it when **** like this happens! Bill will sort you out, he's good at what he does, and sorts people out too. Did you get as far as taking your old callipers off etc?

Yes pisses me off too lol. no, was doing abit of research before fitting. glad i did otherwise id be left with no brakes lol

I can image that the cost of them 2 hard pipes will be more then a set of braided pipes from bill, plus ill have my goodridge ones to sell on top

More drying time i guess for the hammerite paint, which is still soft

That's alright, I am changing all 4 discs and pads on an a3 on Saturday, He had an advisory on them last MOT and it's out of date now, so over 12 months. Any way, he said he uses the engine for the majority of his breaking hahaha I just looked at him like wtf dude, get the pads changed!! Then got collared into doing them

it would easy enough to make up that small section of brake pipe if you know anyone in the trade.

seems more hassle then its worth and more time consuming finding someone though tbh, then id worry about it being a perfect fit etc, last thing i want is a break fluid leak canning it down the motorway lol

iam very skeptical about company's and customer service as i've had so many bad experiences in the past where they get things wrong or supply the wrong parts etc

just ordered these, gonna try and do stealth rear lights. A clear lens smokes better then red, and these lights have less red then originals and are LED with built in resistors.

Dont like the chrome in them cause it looks too Lexus so gonna smoke it out :)

Why do people insist on putting brembo decals on wrong lol

****, i thought they was the right way round, having a look around loads of people got them both ways, was a 50/50 chance lol

i thought it made more sense to read from top to bottom instead of the other way around ?
