Hi,

Has anyone had one of the new cupras chipped yet and if so does anyone have any advice on which companies offer the best re-maps?

but GIAC is the only map that can be changed while on the move and it is very smooth... is there any chance you could put you rolling road graph up on here cuprar30

I only have the first set of graphs when it made 303bhp, Revokev should be able to sort the new ones. as for torque IIRC it's 340ftlb's and lots of fun. :D

340 ft-lbs if this is the case then i must have went for the wrong map as that it a fare differance. i didnt think it was possible to get that high torque out of a a cupra that has only got a remap

the only reason i didnt get the revo is because i had problems with my lcr after have revo stage 2 installed into it. i am not saying it was the revo that caused the problem but i didnt want to chance it on my new car.

the GIAC remap is amazing, it gives the smoothest map i have seen and still gives one of the best power outputs off all maps availible. the main reason i got the GIAC is because it is switchable when the car is movin, so you can change modes at the push of a button.

had it two weeks now and seems to be getting better and better, when i got the car mapped it had less that 900miles on it so i am certain i will have a few more bhp's now

Several Revo maps on this forum are quite often "peaky" and tend to give a high max figure, but not such a good graph.

I must seem like a Revo "fan-boy", but based on what? Do you mean on Mk2 Leons, or on all cars?

I'm interested in seeing how you came to this conclusion that's all

no probs matey, i will do it when i get home. i agree exactly whith what mr DJHORACE says, i think my torque came in slightly later and this will help with the wheel spin... will post it up in a couple of hours lads

Hmmm, it would be interesting to see all the graphs together.

I have to disagree that a flat torque curve is more favourable than a peak in torque that coincides with the boost, every turbo car I've ever seens has a such a curve.

If the curve showed a lump of torque, then nothing for the rest of the revs range, then you're probably right, but I doubt it's like that. I bet the start and end points are the same, just with more in the middle, just like comparing a chipped and non-chipped motor.
