Havent you got a decent socket setwith a extender bar? ive always used that then got them torqued up after, Failing that you could always go and buy a wheel brace from any autoparts shop?

No I wish I did!! I just assumed it would fit its my own fault but im glad to find out now than in a emergency when I would really need to use it!

I was contemplating a wheel brace but since the jack is knakered also I figured I would try and get a hold of a SEAT Jack set!?

You can get a cheap extending wheelbrace with a double ended 17 / 19mm socket from Wilkinson for about £4. As Peter says, it will be 17mm if it has standard bolts, and likely to be 19mm if someone has converted it to studs.
