the quote i got was for cat back system 21/4" inch pipe with a midle and back box with a tail pipe of my choice.
just wanted to know wheather to have the midle box or not as i would like a bit of raor to it.

you will get lots of vibration in the cabin from the noise if you dont get it fella, i geta little as it is but its more of a sporty rumble than noisey though.

I'm confused
I have a Milltek cat back on my Cupra and thinking about Milltek down pipe and cat to finish the job but is indeed bloody expensive.. so. Is there a gain in hp or not? I didn't notice any performance improvement after cat back.

paul basically the downpipe is the only restricting part of the system, if id known this before getting the catback done id probably have went for the downpipe first then do the rest later.

If you haven't got a remap then don't bother with the DP and cat.

It's really only worth it if you're looking to go REVO Stage 2 or similar.

cheers for the info m8 think i will have the middle box go for a dp and cat later
then have a remap stage 2

between my tip and exhaust power is up 10 g/s (vagcom measured approx 13bhp) and no vibration whatsoever, djhorace, if you have had a powerflow fitted to a leon cupra then fair enough but saying that it will be worse than an off the shelf system is a bit premature. there has been a few rr sessions that included powerflow, scorpion, miltek etc and miltek was the lowest gain with powerflow usually top or second top gainer.

Ill not argue that each powerflow fitter is different but what i will also say is that powerflow offer fittings and customise everything where milltek etc all fail, they can make it as loud, quiet, free'er flowing, standard size etc, noone could do what i wanted except powerflow/blueflame type companies. I wanted a little increase in noise to compliment the induction noise up front. I knew that by adding a slightly larger diameter (2 1/6 to 2 1/4 inch upsize) I would probably get an increase in power anyway. Ive still got a stock downpipe and cat so there are still more gains to be had too! I cant comment for every powerflow franchise but I can seriously recommend them.

do powerflow offer a lifetime guarantee.
mine is booked in for next Thursday i am going for a middle box so it coming up to £280 all in
witch is the same price as the Milltek exaust i am have the cupra tail pipe one.
