thats a good price
they get good reviews
but i have avoided them because i hate the standard exhaust, and they look almost identical

Doesn't sound much different mate

I've got one on my LCR along with DP and sports cat

Bit more noticible under load but you won't notice much defference overall

Part of the reason I went for it as didn't want one that was really boomy :)

cant comment on sound as i dont have one
but blueflame make a system with a different exit, as do supersprint IIRC

or you could always go the powerflow way

i went to my local powerflow dealer the other week he said he could make me a exhaust with the cupra r tail pipe for £250 but dont know wheather to go with what he surggest to put a smaller middle box in where the miltek one does not have one.
would it make any diffrance middle box or no middle box

i have a miltek cat-back but with a 5" jap can on the back, sounds really nice not too boomy on the dualer, but when your giving it some stick round the back roads it sounds beautiful, esp along with a CIA and revo. I got mine from Robdon, a user on here, but to do it for yourself it's an expensive route.

Cheers

I barely noticed any extra noise inside the car and defo didn't see any performance improvement from having the Milltek cat-back on my Cupra.

On it's own it's a complete waste of money, i ended up buying the downpipe and race-cat to match it. That improved the noise but you'd still only notice it under full load. It also genuinly improved the performance; holding boost longer at the top end.

Very expensive to buy both though.

Darth what DP and sports CAT you got mate???

I think I'm guna go Powerflow way cus have a few mates at my local powerflow, and they'll make a good job of mine.

Not decided on tailpipe yet tho.
Interested in DP and sports CAT tho.

Both sports cat and DP are Miltkek's own as TallPaul also has above

Got them as part of Revo Stg 2

You may be able to get alternate tailpipe (twin) if the oringinal Cupra R design doesn't appeal

As TallPaul mentions it is bloody expensive (bout £1k) for what gains you get but it was part of Stg 2 (which will prob become Stg 3 at some point) so had to go on

i really like mine! ok got big dp on which gives the noise but i think it looks better than the stock by miles. its bigger and fills the bumper well.

admittedly i wanted to keep it looking standard which is why i went for it.

for noise and power its all in the dp and cat.

This is my powerflow beowulf, 340ish all in fitted though I opted for the second box (baffle) to keep the noise to a respectable burble and roar when letting rip, ive heard louder exhausts but inside the cabin is fine and not overbearing through streets.

lol, no idea what a little roar sounds like. If you want people to turn there heads in the street then don't get the silencer. If you want the performance gains but only the noise under full load then get it with the silencer.

the second box adds the extra on (cat back rather than backbox only)
2 1/4 inch pipe system as unless youre running 300+ you dont need it plus it lessens the incar noise a little.
