Folks

I am going to be getting a catback for my 1.8t FR. I have been looking at the milltek system and i am unsure of wether to get resonated or non-resonated. I want a louder than standard exhaust but nothing crazy loud.

Any ideas of what one to get and why?

Cheers Mikey

Non res is louder than res (extra box). Res is like stock at normal revs (gets noisier as you open up). Non Res is as you would imagine noisier.

Would suggest you hear it first, another member, youtube?

depends on how LOUD the non res is. louder the chavier. needs to be a nice sound rather than loud and raspy like a corsa with a cherry bomb. id go for something that sounds different and gives a better turbo sound but not over loud..

Cool i think i will go for non-res. I will let you know how it sounds when it's done in a month or so. Cheers

Not got the exhaust yet but i heard a Red 1.8t Leon on you tube with the non resonated and it was pretty loud, not bad sounding but i think it may be a bit loud.

Any one know of other direct systems i can look into getting instead that they rate??

Cheers

hey dont mean to hijack your thread mate but am lookin for an exhaust too.seen a few leons on youtube too some of them running an Edel01?? anyone ever heard of this and who mite make it??

your options are Miltek, Blueflame, Piper, Jetex, Supersprint etc

the only one as far as im aware with the ability to go resonated is Miltek but this isn't any different to standard really in the way of noise.

Suppose you could may go custom with a powerflow but there not always brilliant, depends which one you go and you will pay for it
