Milltek before custom remap?

I plan to get a custom remap on the ibiza (pd130) in the near future. I may also get a Milltek fitted at some stage.

Do the Milltek's make a difference (other than to the sound) on a pd130. Also, anyone got a sound clip of one fitted?

If I do decide to get a Milltek, would it make much difference if I get one before or after the custom map?

Any help much appreciated.

Again, a common subject m8y, really try and search before posting.

To answer tho, yes another mod (like your other thread) will work better if done before a fully custom remap aka Custom Code Phase 2 and alike.

Mike who works for JBS has got a Phase 2, FMIC and Exhaust and very noticable the difference all that makes over my Induction kit, and a Phase One generic map.

My advice is, if you want the best out of your car, do all the little things first, aka FMIC, Exhaust, Induction Kit/PD160 Air intake & Air Filter etc etc then get a Phase Two, you should see over 180bhp with all this, and plenty of torque, more than likely more than the clutch can handle. So beware... again search up on this if you need questions answered.

I can't really stretch to a FMIC and new clutch so a remap, exhaust and filter will have to do.

P.S. I did do a search before posting both threads but found there to be contradicting opinions and I was unsure.

Depending what exhaust you go for then, depends whether or not it would be worth getting a totally custom map, depending on driving style to. I know JBS recommend ATLEAST a FMIC, Full Exhaust + PD160 & Green Cotton Filter before really going for a phase 2!

It will be pretty fast once done tho

Hi, yep the same as what Mark has just said a bove realy, do all the preperation first, then get a remap. For a sound clip, i have a video in the vid section, ill get u the link in a minute.
