Hi all,

I have a 2004 leon cupra r225. it has just done 50k. was wondering when people recommend the cam belt being changed. also i have heard a few rumours that water pump and tensioners should be done at the same time.

Any help.
Cheers

advice has been 60,000 miles or 5 years for some time now.

Recently some have been syaing 4 years..

So anyway either way yours is due. and yes id change the water pump and tensioner, it makes sense as the parts are not expensive.

In short, do a proper full change. not just the belt.
