Yeah I know mate, 10K and that was on a 1.2 Corsa... Don't want to know how long they'd last on the Megane

How do you rate the Rossos?

A can't Mick there on the back and down to the marker (looks like a awfa good pattern tho) ave brand new ditch finders on the front the now just the way a bought the motor basically. The plans to swap them to the back and shell out on some new rubber to go on front

Ah ok mate :) Kinda the same as me then... Michelins on the front and some new (when I bought it) cheapos on the back. The garage stuck them on the morning I picked my car up. May aswell wear them out, then will get something decent on the back too :)

No wonder you went for the derv  When I travel about for work I get expenses paid, so taking work out the equation, I've done just less than 2k in the near 4 months since I bought mine :p

Well I'm still going up and down to Manchester with work, so she's been neglected a little. I've kinda given up cleaning her at the moment, as even 5 miles from my house she's dirty again... So excuse the dirt in the pictures! :( Anyway.. Just a few to keep the thread alive...

Yeah it's not that bad for the car as you say! Is your Cupra group 15/16?
Well according to the trip on the way up here i'd get about 525.. that was sitting at 70 with cruise on. (With some little blasts in there too ;) )

525 miles on the renault? wtf? i barely get 300 on my fr lol

nice car btw, i was contemplating a megane before I got the fr... and then the new shape megane was even more tempting

That was after putting about 40 litres in, and the tank holds 60L. I ended up getting about 300 miles until the light, but that wasn't just cruising on the motorway ;)

I've been getting not bad mileage going to Manchester. I can get down and back up between my offices on 1 tank, which is about 450 miles :) Not too bad for a 2.0T I think! (That's only happened once though, as I get my mileage paid for I'm not too bothered about fuel economy )

Mine was much better on fuel than my cupra is. I had hankooks on mine and they were a great tyre but the diff on the r26 munches tires like nothing else, I think I only got about 6k out of them but coming out of roundabout full throttle in second gear is very addictive ;)

Well I ended up going for some Uniroyal Rainsport 2s :) I've had them on all my previous cars and they were good.. So thought I'd go with the tried and trusted option! First impressions are they are very grippy, eveb with the releasing agent still on them... Which I'm quite surprised about since they replaced Michelin Pilot Sport 3's.

Haha! I agree coming off roundabouts with a bit of power is addictive with the diff

I wonder how long these tyres will last...

That's the big unknown really with these Rainsports, longevity!

Hope the car is running well for you Mick. Don't see any French cars at all out here, or SEATs.

Anymore mods on the horizon for this?

Yeah. They lasted not too badly when I've had them before, so hopefully be the same here - As been said though, the diff likes to munch tyres so we'll see!

Yeah it's running perfect, not missed a beat yet! (touch wood). Not at the moment.. I'm still enjoying it as it is.. still feels like a new car even after ~5 months :) Still enjoying the fun of the chavs in kitted Fiestas and Corsas trying it on too

How's FL treating you?
