Has anyone had any good / bad experience with Michelin CrossClimate tyres? They look like an ideal mix of summer tyres with a bit more winter performance than a fully focused summer tyre.
Bad as a summer tyre, bad as a winter tyre.
Is that based on experience with them or an opinion of the concept?
On another note I see that the Goodyear Vector 4Season Gen2 is available in 18" size, anyone tried these out? I'm just about to replace all four and would sacrifice a smidge of summer grip for a little more winter performance.

I decided to buy a set of 17" SEAT alloys for winter use and fitted the Cross Climates as they appear to be very versatile from reviews I've seen.
So far I'm very impressed with them, they grip a lot better than the Standard Bridgestone S001's in these cooler conditions and they're noticeably quieter too. I can't comment on what they're like in the snow.
I've experienced no balance issues myself, at any speed, either through the steering wheel or through the car itself.
