Hello, I am planning to do a mib1 to mib2 retrofit ony my 14fr and slowly getting the parts one by one but I recently ordered navigation unit with part number 5F0035824C with out much investigating about sat navs, also it was on the cheaper side on ebay (maybe for a reason) which has only one sd card slot and at some pictures on internet with same unit in other cars have seen in the menu that there is no option to use standard seat inbuilt navigation.
My question is will I be able to use navigation from sd card?
I plan to do alot traveling with this car and dont want to rely solely on android auto maps because in some European union countries internet is free but rest is not so it would be preferable to have the inbuilt sat nav option aswell.
Did i maybe bought the wrong one, since my mib1 unit has sd card navigation but has no android auto and apple car play which is why im planing to retrofit mib2 in the first place. Many thanks.
