For those lucky people with Mib2 the DIY map updates are available for June 2022 (month early). Cover Europe and the Rest of the World (ROW).

Details here:

Standard (unit with an SD card), these were fitted to non-European Ateca Cupras

High / Plus units:

The high / plus units need the "life long FeC". DIY firmware changes can be carried out if comfortable with the risks associated (link on the thread), or are available from the board's sponsor, East Yorkshire Retrofit.

Hi Tell how do you update to Mib firmware 515?
many thanks again
There is a software thread that is a treasure trove

515 was overtaken by 516. I reckon it's this

But best to ask on the thread. The main thing is during the update don't interrupt the process. It reboots several times, suppose to have a charger connected so no loss of power, but engine on is fine. Clearing SVM is on the thread there as well.

You can only install 516 if on the 5xx train. Discussion there. If not East Yorkshire Retrofit can sort it out or you can obtain 516 from them if on 5xx or send it off to be modded if not on 5xx. Some people want to skip trains because they like the newer screrns, basically each train includes bug fixes at the end of the lifecycle but the way the software is installed issues if you jump trains. Trains being 2xx, 3xx, 4xx, 5xx.

That's all mib2 standard stuff. For the Seat Plus (mib2 high) you can jump trains. Been a lot of success with 1447AIO of recent. That's on the thread.
