MIB2 Coding?

Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade from MIB1 to MIB2 and have seen a few available that already CP removed, but as far as I can tell, they'll need to be coded to the car. Does anyone know if this can be done remotely and any idea on cost? Trying to see if it's any cheaper to do it that way rather than buying ready to install

I paid £500 for the unit over 4 months (klarna) and it was the full kit, plug n play. The company on Facebook, Yorkshire vag solutions asked for all the car details, extras and did all the coding before sending it out
