When listening to music through android auto, the skip track buttons on the steering wheel dont work at all, is this by design? The buttons work fine when connected to phone through bluetooth.
Strange they work on mine, I assume you use the same music app for Bluetooth and AA?
One thing I found out that if you use a not so good USB cable it causes all sorts of issues (did for me) so I tested with the cable the phone charged with and things started working ok (had sound issues though for me)

Yeah I found that everything was fine on mine but every so often it would not allow me to change the volume using the steering wheel unless it was going down in volume... never let me turn it up. Random but sort of the same thing lol If you've got a genuine charging cable for the phone it's a free thing to try haha
You could also forget the car and start the AA setup from scratch maybe... Is your AA app on the phone up to date?
