The one i looked t yesterday was facelift, just scouting it out at the minute got a month to wait till I come out my time at bae so I'll get my payrise :)

Off to look at another facelift one today aswell silver 20vt 07 plate.

Sort of leaning towards the polo tho, I fancy something the same but different if you get me lol

Weird that cos it's £50 cheaper for me to insure the polo :S
Insurance doesn't make sense
There's a lad on here With a 10 plate cupra with 0 no claims and his insurance is £600 fully comp!

ooo don't go over to the dark polo side :p
Although proper down and out Polos do look rather tidy....

Black roof looks proper mint, serious kudos on the DIY job there - shame my car is black, otherwise I'de be doing it!

And I don't know how they work out insurance either, despite both of my parents both working in the industry, and trying to figure out how my quotes where derived - clearly there is a little room where a few oddballs throw numbers together!

You reckon I should stay with ibiza' then Charlie?
And thankyou for the comment on the roof! You should wrap yours blue :D and tell me what wheels you have got?

Also got a quote facelift and pre-facelift and the newer one is cheaper. Like you said a few monkeys in a room :D

Well you will be happy to know I'm sticking with ibiza's then which mean to all you vultures! Coilovers and wheels are not for sale. :D

Charlie is definately right on this occasion!
Although I'm gunna say she is wrong anyway because she won't tell me what wheels she has purchased! Ha!

Polo was no good as I found it had been to stage 2 and back turns out it was my mates old car lol! So I know it had been ragged!

Red fr I went to see was a bit tatty so still looking I suppose :)

coil packs are quite common to fail touch wood i havent experienced this yet there pretty bullet proof engines people get the ocassional maf failure and boost leaks but most of the time its when things have been fiddled with although boost leaks will happen when a pipe splits with age etc.
obviously the more engine mods you do the more likely things will fail.
if everything is kept clean and well maintained theres alot less chance of things going wrong.

Nothing too bad then :)
I'll keep an eye out for ropey boost pipes then, might be able to get them replaced before I pick one up?

Aslong as it lasts through the winter months It will be ok :) heading for stage 2 I think :)

its nice and easy to get to stage two a little more money required for the fr but you should love it but your have to get use to standard power first as its quite a jump from a 1.4.
i made the same move went from a 1.4 to the cupra and it took quite a while to get use to.
leaky boost pipes are quiite difficult to find as theres no real symptoms unless the car lacks power makes a funny hiss sounds or is arratic while boosting,i havent experienced one yet so all should be fine for you.
just find a clean fr/cupra with a full service history and your be laughing.
when i was shopping for mine there was no local frs in the right colour so i ended up with a cupra i dont regret it either took me a couple of months to find the right car.

Yer good point. Will have to get use to driving again, staying on boost in corners and that!
That's later next year anyway matey
Start of summer need to save up first :)

Got a quote today on one with coilovers, wheels, rear arb was only 1400 that's from the current insurer aviva. Considering I'm 19 with 2 years no claims and 3 points, think that's olrite tbh :)

I'm in absolutely zero rush to sell this tbh, I still love it to bits, but it's done alot of miles now, so time for change.
