Going along with this i think that upping the power is always going to put extra stress on the clutch and other parts, and i think is more then likely going to shorten the life of a clutch. But i think that it depends how the car is driven to how much stress the clutch is going to take.
Seems abit obvious i know, but thought it is worth saying
If your going to take your car to Santa Pod everyday, and drive it really hard etc then the clutch probably wont last as long if you've had a remap.But if you drive sensible most of the time then the clutch is more then likely going to hold up just fine.
