hi

my bolts keep coming loose on my manifold, im now on my 3rd gasket, is there anything i can do to stop this happening, (only checked em a few days ago but then came loose within days) seen something on one of the threads that looks like it locks the bolts down but when i try n explain to garages etc what i need then dont have anything (or dont understand me) tried to copy a pic of it for this thread but it wouldnt do it. Gonna take bolts out to make sure they are long enough too.

thanks

what manifold, the inlet or exhaust?
Have tried replacing the bolts/washers, have you tried using locking nuts?

It's the thread size...

Use some loctite or something or you can get nuts with locktite at the end of them.

thats why i havent used locktite or exhaust paste as someone suggested! n i sort of realise that m10 is the thread size but in mm is what i meant or is it 10mm? ive been takin bikes to bits n puttin em back together again for years but only ever gone on head size if you know what i mean:p
